Book review: The Heavens Proclaim His Glory

I am a member of Thomas Nelson’s Book Review Blogger program and had the opportunity to review the book, 'The Heavens Proclaim His Glory~A spectacular view of creation through the lens of the Hubble Telescope'. I couldn't wait to receive this book and review it! Our world displays God's work--by land, sea, animals and plants. In the sky, heavens and universe, you'll be able to see our Father's amazing creation! The pictures are astounding via the Hubble Telescope. You'll witness the Magnificient Beauty of our world! Once you see these pictures, you realize how small you are in the vast scheme of His power and might.

There are Scriptures and quotes by Joni Eareckson Tada, Max Lucado and many others weaved throughout this beautiful book! Here are just a few quotes that I meditated upon:

"We know about beauty because God, the Ultimate First Cause of Everything, is also beautiful...to the humble and worshipful of heart...every tiny piece of creation reminds them of the magnificent Genius who fashioned it all. No item of creation, be it ever so beautiful, can convey the infinite beauty of the Source." ~Kevin Hartnett.

"You need a Yahweh. You need a God who can place 100 billion stars in our galaxy and 100 billion galaxies in the universe. You need a God who can shape two fists of flesh into 75-100 billion nerve cells, each with as many as 10,000 connections to other nerve cells, place it in a skull, and call it a brain. You need a God who can come in the soft of night and touch you with the tenderness of April snow. You need a Yahweh."~ Max Lucado

I really recommend this book and you'll fall in love all over again with the Creator, Father of our universe. Enjoy and be blessed!!
